The Old Vicarage is run by a mother and daughter team, built on years of experience in hospitality, events and design. What began as a careful restoration of a Victorian country house gradually evolved into something more - a place where people could gather, celebrate and feel truly looked after.

Every decision, from the layout of the rooms to the way weddings unfold, has been shaped by hosting real people and real moments. We’ve learned that the most memorable celebrations are not the most elaborate, but the most thoughtful.
MEET THE TEAM

The Old Vicarage is a family-run wedding and events venue, created with the belief that hosting a wedding should feel calm, considered and genuinely personal.

The house was once a private home, and that sense of warmth and welcome still shapes everything we do. Rather than operating as a traditional wedding venue, we host a small number of celebrations each year, allowing us to give our full attention to every couple and every detail.

We believe great weddings are built on trust and clear communication. From your first enquiry through to the wedding day itself, we take a hands-on, supportive approach - offering guidance where it’s helpful and space where it’s needed.

You’ll work with a dedicated wedding coordinator who knows the house inside out, supported by our experienced front-of-house and kitchen teams. On the day, our role is quiet but constant: ensuring everything runs smoothly, so you’re free to be present with the people you love.
We care deeply about hosting one wedding at a time, properly. About creating spaces that feel lived-in rather than hired, offering honest guidance with transparent pricing, and welcoming all couples and celebrations with warmth and respect.

The Old Vicarage isn’t about doing more - it’s about doing things well, with intention and care.

If you’re looking for a place that feels warm, personal and quietly confident, we’d love to welcome you.
