At The Old Vicarage, we host a limited number of weddings each year, allowing us to give every celebration the time, care and attention it deserves.

Our Victorian country house is offered on an exclusive-use basis, giving you and your guests the freedom to truly settle in and make yourselves at home. Weddings here are intentionally design-led but never overstyled - thoughtful, well considered and guided by how you want the day to feel, rather than by trends or templates.

We believe in honest planning and clear communication. What you see is what you get: a family-run, female-founded house, a calm and experienced team and spaces that are designed to be lived in, not rushed through. From quiet wedding mornings in the bedrooms to relaxed evenings flowing through the house, each wedding is hosted one at a time, with genuine care at its heart.
All of our couples receive one-to-one support from our dedicated wedding coordinators. From shaping your early ideas to quietly bringing everything together on the day itself, we’re here to guide you through the planning process with care and clarity.
Our support includes timeline creation, trusted supplier recommendations, and discreet on-the-day coordination - allowing the house, and your celebration, to unfold naturally.
Some couples arrive with a clear vision, while others are still finding their way. Wherever you’re starting from, our role is to support you without pressure or overwhelm, creating a wedding experience that feels considered, seamless, and entirely your own.
An important thing to know is that we host only one wedding at a time, ensuring your day feels calm, personal and entirely your own. Weddings at The Old Vicarage include exclusive use of the house and grounds, from 10am on your wedding day until 11am the following morning.

We are thrilled to welcome both you and your loved ones for a timelessly elegant and intimate weekend hire from Friday - Sunday where you can really take advantage of everything our Vicarage has to offer in a very home from home exclusive experience.
Our wonderful team can facilitate games, activities and a rehearsal dinner for you and your guests before the big day. The day after your wedding, you can carry on the party and enjoy a delicious brunch with everyone who stayed the night before. Relax and enjoy your Sunday with us, where you can reminisce about your special day and spend quality time together before departing.

At The Old Vicarage, we offer four elegant locations to marry. Our beautiful, licensed Vicarage can hold ceremonies in our Main Room and our Bandstand, which sits proudly at the top of our charming country garden. Our bandstand will be available during the summer months.

Once you have secured your wedding date and you would like to have your civil ceremony at The Old Vicarage, you will need to contact our local registrars, Nottinghamshire County Council on 0300 500 8080 to book your ceremony time. Please not there is a separate ceremony cost that the registrars will charge you for their services.
DETAILS
Organisation is key to planning a wedding, and we know that some are naturally more organised than others, which is why we give you all the tools you need in your personalised, detailed Wedding Notes. We will update these for you after each wedding meeting and you can also edit these yourself, updating details as you go.
We pride ourselves on how much we offer within our venue hire at The Old Vicarage. Whether you would like to use our wooden farmhouse tables or round tables which are styled with our ivory wooden chairs, we have a style to suit your vision.

Our crystal cut glassware enhances the elegance of your table setting. You can also make use of our table numbers and fresh white napkins to add to the finishing touches.
You may want to use a cake stand from your cake supplier however we have a lovely selection of cake stands that you are more than welcome to choose from.
We also encourage you to have signage and table plans for your wedding, this is a lovely way to incorporate your wedding aesthetic and welcome your guests. We have a handful of beautiful easels that you can use to display your signage.
DRINKS RECEPTION
Drinks and canapés can be served in the bar lounge and our front room after your ceremony. In the warmer months, guests can sip on a refreshing drink in our private gardens.

Our grounds are the perfect place for guests to relax in their surroundings and enjoy a round of the quintessentially English game of croquet in the garden afterwards.
Whether you would like to provide your guests with an open bar or perhaps a complimentary cocktail for your evening guests, we can tailor your drinks requirements to suit.
A LUXURY WEDDING VENUE WITH BOUTIQUE BEDROOMS
Our eight boutique bedrooms are the most indulgent escape from your everyday life with interiors specifically designed to effortlessly blend timeless design with current trends. Each room has been individually curated with natural materials and more modern elements, encouraging you to feel at home in your surroundings.

All our eight boutique bedrooms are for overnight use and are included within the venue hire, along with a beautifully prepared breakfast served the following morning.
Should you wish, you are welcome to pass the cost of the bedrooms on to your guests.
EXCLUSIVITY - YOUR EXCLUSIVE UK WEDDING VENUE
At The Old Vicarage, we aim to ensure that our wedding party is as relaxed as possible which is why we offer exclusivity the night before your wedding from £2,800.00.
You may check in from 3pm the day before your wedding and upon arrival you will be greeted with a delicious light glass of sparkling wine.

Included in the exclusivity price is our eight boutique bedrooms and a delicious breakfast the morning of your wedding.
​
We can organise a range of activities to keep you busy during your stay at The Old Vicarage, movie nights, yoga, sound baths, massages, lawn games, and countryside walks. Please ask our team for more information and prices.
We require £500.00 deposit to secure exclusivity the night before your wedding. Please note that bank holiday and the festive period prices may vary.
