As a boutique wedding venue in Nottinghamshire, we're extremely lucky to be part of a community of talented local wedding suppliers. You see, when it comes to crafting a timelessly beautiful, deeply considered wedding day, our view is, it takes a village.
We know that our role as your big day’s backdrop is huge - and something we take such pride in - but without a network of florists, content creators, stylists, planners, photographers, designers and many more, we wouldn’t be able to execute these special events to the standard that you deserve.
For us, it’s important that suppliers and venues work seamlessly together, bound by years of experience and innate understanding of how to pull off a this important day without a hitch - we should always be on the same page. Gigil and Bloom
Sophie Earle, founder of Gigil and Bloom, is an old friend and based just a few minutes away in the heart of historic Southwell. Sophie is bursting with artistic flair and imagination - her style is all about colour and creativity, with big, blousy blooms, voluminous shapes and a contemporary finish which always ticks off the latest trends. With Gigil and Bloom you can plan something big or small for your wedding, with budgets starting from £1,500. However, the Ready To Roll package also allows you to choose a colour scheme linked to a selection of buttonholes and bouquets, without putting an investment into the decor. This is the perfect option for a lower-key day.
Elder and Wild
Envisioning wedding florals with a natural feel, plenty of texture and seasonal details? Becky, founder of Elder and Wild, describes her style as ‘inspired by English country gardens’ and plucks flowers from her very own cutting garden in west Nottingham’s Wollaton. Becky believes in field-to-vase floristry, and focuses on sustainability through her practice as much as possible, using British flowers, free from chemicals or pesticides, and without single-use plastic. You can opt for the fully styled service which starts at £1,500 or keep things wild and free, with buckets of fresh flowers that you can use to decorate the venue yourself, alongside bouquets and buttonholes.
The Bell Jar
The Bell Jar is a flower studio and cutting garden based in rural Nottinghamshire, founded by Nikki Mckinney. Nikki is such a kind soul and loved by brides for her gently wild approach to wedding bouquets, which are often inspired by the surrounding landscapes and how they change throughout the seasons. With pairings like white, fluffy peonies and quicksand roses, her designs feel enchanting, nostalgic and soft, while still contemporary. The Bell Jar’s fully bespoke floral design service starts from £700, with a simplified package also available for bouquets, posies, buttonholes and confetti.

In an ideal world, we’d all have an expert there to hold our hands when it comes to planning the big day. Trust us, on the morning of, you don’t want to be worrying about logistics or eschewing time drinking champagne with your bridesmaids to do last minute finishing touches. So, when she fell in love with planning while organising her own wedding, Fior Collective just felt right - especially as her friends quickly became her client list once they saw what a gorgeous job she’d done for herself! Fior Collective is design-led and works with modern couples who have an aesthetic vision in mind. Verity can work with you on a full concept which includes considered design and styling, all supplier sourcing and liaising, logistics, management and coordination. But, if your organisation skills are a thing of wonder and you just need guidance on pulling your ideas together and crafting an over-arching narrative, there’s plenty of options for that, too.
Two Oak
Ellie and Laura are best friends, based in the Midlands, whose in-sync taste, style and ability to work seamlessly together has seen them nicknamed ‘two of a kind’ - which is how Two Oak was born. They can work with you from the beginning of your engagement, helping to source venues, accompanying you on a site visit, creating a concept for the day, while managing admin and budgets, right up to the morning of the wedding. Equally, they can take the reins 12 weeks before the I Dos to help carry the load in that crucial period. And, if visuals aren’t your forte, Ellie and Laura are happy to simply style the event for you instead.
In Awe Weddings
Emily grew up in Southwell, just a stone’s throw from us at The Old Vicarage, and while she spent years working in London and even travelling the world as a professional singer, she’s now back in Nottinghamshire bringing all of her expertise, creativity and talent to her wedding planning business, In Awe Weddings. And, we’re so lucky to have her! Having worked in high end hospitality in the heart of the capital, Emily knows all about the importance of creating a great vibe and atmosphere at an event. Her planning services concentrate on how you want to feel on your special day, with an experience-led approach that considers your guest’s journey with incredible entertainment, food and drinks, and unexpected details.

With a first-class degree in photography and industry names like Getty Images and Press Association under her belt, Sophia took five years off to concentrate on family life in Nottingham, raising two beautiful little boys. In 2023, she picked the camera back up and founded her own business, anchored in a long-standing passion to capture the moments in life that matter most. While her work across mother, family and couples photography is stunning and always brimming with emotion, we’re so excited to see her new wedding portfolio developing this year. We’ve known Sophia for decades and can happily confirm that she’ll become the new best friend you didn’t know you needed, helping any couple to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her strength is her imagination - she’s full of ideas and has a knack for just ‘getting’ your relationship from the start.
Faye Wilde Photography
We’ve worked with Faye across both weddings and a selection of stunning shoots at The Old Vicarage and love her editorial take on wedding photography, using both digital and analogue cameras for a dreamy, romantic and yet contemporary feel. She has a particular penchant for sartorial details, so if you’re a fashion bride, she's the one for you. From glamorous nuptials in Portofino to English garden celebrations at the aesthetic heaven Kin House, Faye has done it all - so check out her example weddings for some serious inspiration. Faye is based in Nottinghamshire but loves travelling and thanks to her Italian studies and time living abroad, is very comfortable being on site in Italy, France and Spain, as well as destinations worldwide.

Sitting pretty in the historic, former courthouse in our idyllic village of Southwell is Frances Day Bridal, a modern bridalwear boutique founded by the wonderful Julia. Charismatic and warm-heart, Julia lights up a room, and has built the ultimate girl gang at her intimate boutique with a team of Emma, Anna, Hannah and Jenny. Within the showroom you’ll find curated collections from their design partners, including Suzanne Neville, Jesus Peiro, Trish Peng and Hera Couture, and you’re welcome to try on as many as you like during your hour and a half appointment, in which time the boutique will be all yours!
Amare Bridal
You’ll find Amare Bridal in Sutton Coldfield, founded by Lyndsey who had long dreamed of creating a unique bridal experience where women were given the freedom and encouragement to imagine their own unique take on what’s often a traditional style. Amare has a strong visual identity, favouring modern yet romantic gowns, often nodding to the latest trends. The team work with a breadth of designers, including: Christie Nicole, J. We totally understand if you’re not completely familiar with wedding content creation, a form of wedding day documentation that’s still relatively new. But, as social media is such a huge part of our lives, many couples don’t just want long-form videos or typical photos, but ready-made reels and on-trend snaps that they can share online within a few days. For this reason, wedding content creation is now huge, and something you should be looking into for your Nottinghamshire wedding.
The Relaxed Bride
Using just her trusty iPhone, Chloe prides herself on her subtle, unobtrusive style, allowing her to mingle and blend in with guests, while capturing key moments of storytelling throughout your day. Think close ups of you and your love giggling when you think no one’s watching, the flowers on your ceremony arch swaying in the gentle breeze, friends and family chattering over dinner - she’s here to capture the intimate seconds that paint the over-arching picture. You can work with Chloe for three, six or nine hours, and expect content back within a few days and it’s your chance to relive all of those small details and little moments again. We’ve worked with Chloe on open days and weddings, and having already bagged some awards in her first year, she’s a firm favourite of ours!
